Acceptance of these terms
By booking a repair, dropping off a device, or using any iRepair Experts service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please do not use the service.
What we provide
iRepair Experts offers diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for consumer electronic devices including (but not limited to) smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart watches, and audio devices.
Where genuine OEM parts are not commercially available, we use high-quality aftermarket equivalents and disclose this on the quote. Customers may decline and have their device returned at no cost.
Quotes & bookings
Online quotes are indicative based on standard fault patterns for your device model. The final price is confirmed only after physical inspection. If the actual cost will exceed the indicative quote by more than 10%, we will contact you for approval before continuing.
Diagnostic fee
Bookings are free to make and free to cancel up to 4 hours before the appointment. A non-refundable diagnostic fee of $30 may apply where a customer declines a repair after physical inspection.
Your responsibilities
Before bringing a device in for repair, you agree to:
- Back up your device. We are not responsible for loss of data during repair, although every reasonable effort is made to preserve it.
- Disable Find My iPhone / Find My Device / Activation Lock when requested.
- Provide passcodes only when strictly necessary for testing — staff will only ever ask in your presence.
- Confirm you are the legal owner of the device or are authorised to consent to repair on the owner's behalf.
Warranty
Every repair carries a 12-month workmanship and parts warranty (90 days on liquid-damage repairs, given the unpredictable nature of corrosion). The warranty covers:
- Defects in the part we installed.
- Workmanship issues directly resulting from our repair.
The warranty does not cover:
- New physical or liquid damage occurring after the repair.
- Unrelated faults on different components of the device.
- Software issues unrelated to the repair.
- Repairs subsequently tampered with or worked on by another technician.
Warranty claims must be presented with proof of repair (invoice or booking reference). We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
Limitation of liability
Subject to non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our total liability for any claim arising from a repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. lost income, lost business contacts, lost data) where loss could have been avoided by maintaining a current backup.
Payment
Payment is due in full on completion of the repair before the device is released. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, EFTPOS, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. Card surcharges (if any) are disclosed before payment.
Unclaimed devices: if a repaired device is not collected within 90 days of completion despite written notice, we reserve the right to sell or recycle it to recover repair costs (Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967 (Qld)).
Cancellation & rescheduling
Free cancellation up to 4 hours before your appointment via the link in your confirmation SMS or by calling the store. Late cancellations or no-shows may attract a $20 fee for repairs requiring pre-ordered parts. Same-day rescheduling is always free.
Privacy & SMS messaging
By providing your mobile number you consent to transactional SMS from iRepair Experts (booking confirmations, ready-for-pickup notices, reminders). Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Mobile information is never shared with third parties for marketing.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Queensland. Nothing in these Terms limits your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
